The Air France Lounge in the IAD airport is located on in concourse A across from gate A22. This lounge is primarily used for international Air France and KLM travelers who are arriving/departing at Washington-Dulles (IAD). Delta does not have a Skyclub at this airport. The lounge (while physically in the same building) is not convenient for Delta members due to location of Delta’s gates being at the end of B concourse and Air France/KLM gates at the other end of the A concourse (genius strategy here guys).
This lounge is small, but does have standard amenities found across all international Skyteam lounges.
- Free WiFi
- Soft drinks
- Alcoholic drinks
Know before you go
Air France is notorious for scrutinizing Delta passenger’s boarding passes to ensure they’re allowed in. The unofficial undertone is they only want international passengers in Business or First Class, not the domestic peasants who are looking for a landing place between connecting flights. Honestly, if you’re used to Delta’s standard of customer service, you’ll probably want to avoid this lounge – Air France employees reflect the French-type of customer service oh-so-well (read: sarcasm).
