Linate arrival: Milan begins suspiciously close to Milan

Linate sits east of the centre, which means your first transfer does not need to become a regional rail saga or a financial negotiation with three provinces. The terminal is compact by major-city standards, and the M4 metro station connects directly with arrivals. Check the live service status before following signs downstairs because even elegant Italian infrastructure occasionally discovers maintenance. If you are continuing to another city, plan the correct railway station before leaving the airport.
