Then follow the Limfjord through Aalborg’s industrial bones and ambitious modern architecture, a route that somehow makes former factories, cold water, and Danish restraint feel like a coherent personality.

Lindholm Høje delivers low stone ships, rolling grass, and broad Limfjord views; go early or late for side light that gives the burial field some depth instead of making it resemble an unusually organized rock collection.

Along the waterfront, frame the fjord against the angular cultural buildings, harbor infrastructure, and bridges. For brighter chaos, use the official street-art routes and let the murals do the heavy lifting while you pretend the composition was entirely your idea.
